Education is crucial in the prevention and suppression of money laundering and terrorist financing, in order to raise the public awareness of AML/CFT to juveniles, GIF participated in the "2019 Global Money Week" organized by Macau IFS in March 2019. AML/CFT seminars were held for MUST, City University of Macao and Macau Polytechnic Institute to discuss about AML/CFT legal requirements and the preventive measures. Over 250 students participated in these seminars.
