On 6th July 2021, Ms. Chu Un I, the Director of GIF and Ms. Vong Man Ieng, the Functional Chief held a seminar on "Prevention of Juvenile Crime and Career Planning" in Sacred Heart Canossian College English Section , with a total of 80 teachers and students participated.In the seminar, GIF's representative explained the laws and knowledge related to AML and CFT, and also explained the risks and harms of money laundering through case studies. Though promotional videos, it deepened students’ understanding on criminal tactics, and enhanced the vigilance of money laundering crimes, so as to avoid being fallen into the traps of money laundering. In addition, the representative of GIF also let students understand the prospects of the compliance industry and career path development.After the seminar, the representative of GIF interacted with students to strengthen their understanding of the content. Enhancing the public awareness among juveniles has always been one of the key tasks of GIF. This fun and relaxing "lesson" helped college students be aware of crime prevention. It was hoped that the students can convey the message of AML/CFT to more young people through peer influence.
